Good afternoon,
Are you looking to further your education while balancing your work? We have an fantastic opportunity for you!
As a staff member, you are invited to explore the Combined Studies degree programme – a flexible, part-time degree designed to fit your busy schedule.
We will have a stall set up in the Walter Bower House foyer (next to the cafe entrance) on Tuesday 21 October between 12-2pm, and we’d love for you to drop by, say hello, and learn more about this fantastic opportunity.
The MA Combined Studies programme is the perfect fit for those returning to education after a break, with no formal qualifications required. You can choose from a variety of subjects – English, Social Anthropology, Management, History, Psychology, and more.
All classes are taught in the evenings by our leading academic staff. Whether you want to pursue the full degree or select individual modules for professional development, it’s a great chance to advance your knowledge and skills.
Benefits for Staff:
• Tuition fee of just £180 (2025-26 rate) for eligible staff members
• Full fee funding available for staff earning under £25,000 per year through SAAS part-time fee grant.
• The degree is open to all staff, their families, and friends – many of your colleagues from various departments have already joined over the years!
